What is it?

Castor oil is deemed safe and tolerable, with strong anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, antinociceptive, analgesic, antioxidant, wound healing, and vaso-constrictive properties.  

The castor oil plant has a long history of ethno-pharmaceutical use for the treatment of abdominal disorders, arthritis, backache, muscle aches, sciatica, chronic headache, constipation, expulsion of placenta, gallbladder pain, menstrual pain, rheumatism, insomnia, as well as for eye conditions like dry eye and blepharitis. It can also be used for sore joints, colic, and constipation. Historically it has also been used for detoxification.  

Note: Do not apply over broken skin. Rare topical allergic reactions can occur. These reactions are temporary. Discontinue use if you have a reaction.
