Adrenal Cortex Capsules

What is it?  

The Adrenal Cortex Extract (ACE) is designed to support, balance, and supply nutrients to your adrenal system. It is a “glandular” product, consisting of the adrenal cortex only, not the entire gland. Glandular therapy has a long history of effective use and is one of the paramount ways that the doctors here found to rebuild adrenal integrity. It brings into the body all the proteins, amino acids, peptides, vitamins, cofactors, minerals, and nucleotides for the adrenal glands to make the proper repair. It’s not designed to increase your cortisol levels; it does not contain cortisol. It has a modulating effect on hormone levels.

ACE differs from a whole adrenal glandular in that it contains only the outer portion (the cortex) of the adrenal gland, which is the portion that produces the main steroid hormones, such as cortisol, DHEA, aldosterone, etc. This glandular does not contain the inner portion (the adrenal medulla), which is the part of the gland that produces adrenaline (or epinephrine).  Dr. Neville uses the cortex-only product because the whole adrenal glandular containing the medulla portion has a tendency to over-stimulate some patients.

ACE, like any other glandular, is hormone-free. In it are nutrients that the adrenal glands can utilize efficiently for function and repair, and its properties can be quickly turned into hormones, assisting a weakened gland. An important aspect of glandular therapy, however, is the impact of nucleotides in the remedy. These are the RNA and DNA of healthy glands specific to the healthy function and repair blueprint of the gland itself.
